As a “recovering perfectionist” I know all too well just how crippling the fear of failure can be. When it comes to achieving your fitness goals, the first step is to face that fear head on and accept the fact that fitness is a journey, and you WILL make mistakes along the way. By focusing on #ProgressNotPerfection, you take tremendous pressure off of yourself and will come to appreciate the process. Remember, there is no quick fix. You need to be in this for the long haul and give yourself time to learn what works (and what doesn’t work) for YOU.
